Romanticize Anything

Hi.

If you're reading this, welcome to mompassthetorch.

The story actually started way before we did.

Our moms have been friends since they were in junior high school. They grew up together,

stayed friends through all these years, and somehow, that friendship ended up bringing us together too.

So we grew up knowing each other because they did. And now, years later, here we are, building something together.

That's where mompassthetorch comes from.

The torch is basically the friendship they passed on to us. Something that started with them,

grew with them, and eventually became something we get to carry forward in our own way.

We started this brand when we were twenty.

No investors, no fashion background, and honestly, not really knowing where this would go.

We just liked making things we genuinely wanted to wear.

And that's still pretty much how we do things today.

Every product starts with a simple question:

"Would we actually use this?"

If the answer is no, we don't make it.

We're not really into making something just because it's time for another drop.

We'd rather take our time, figure things out, and make something we're actually excited about.

And you'll probably notice that we don't only make clothes.

Sometimes it's clothing.

Sometimes it's an item.

Sometimes it's an event.

Sometimes it's just an idea that we think would be cool to bring to life.

To us, they're all part of the same world.

You'll also hear us talk a lot about

"Romanticize Anything."

For us, it's just about paying a little more attention to the things around us.

The objects we use every day.

The places we keep coming back to.

The people we meet.

The random little routines we don't think twice about.

The moments that feel normal now but might mean a lot to us someday.

We like finding something interesting in those things and giving them a little more attention than they usually get.

Because we think almost anything can become meaningful when you care about it enough.

Maybe that's what mompassthetorch is to us, too.

It started with a friendship between two people,

somehow made its way to their kids, and now it's something we're building together.

We don't really know where the torch goes from here.

We're just happy to be the ones carrying it right now.

Welcome to mompassthetorch.
